This policy describes how the app Ashgrove Gardens Bin Collection Calendar (“the App”) handles information. The App is a local utility that shows bin collection dates from data included with the app.
The App does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on our servers. Specifically, we do not:
This matches the “Data Not Collected” disclosure submitted for the App in App Store Connect.
The App displays bin collection schedules from a dataset bundled inside the app (for example, a CSV file). That dataset is derived from public council information and does not identify you. Processing happens on your device for display in the calendar interface.
Using the App does not require you to send your bin schedule or usage data to servers we operate for this App. Standard Apple platform services (such as the App Store, software updates, and device security) are governed by Apple’s policies, not this policy.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through the App.
We may update this policy if the App’s behaviour changes (for example, if a future version added optional features that collect data). The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Collection dates shown in the App are based on public information from the relevant local authority. That authority remains responsible for the accuracy of official schedules; the App is an independent convenience and is not endorsed by the council.
